Let's all congratulate him

Here's the winning fish and its description
I present - babies in a growout tank. These are Nothobranchius palmqvisti, an East African (Kenyan) annual killifish. Last week these guys had zero colour, and here's a male just putting on his grown up suit. He'll triple that size, and hopefully live another 8-9 months. By then, I should have several collections of eggs, which hatch in around 3 months. The show will continue.
The Dutch aquarist who sent me eggs to get them started has had them generation after generation for over ten years. It isn't the most colourful "Notho" out there, but it's a nice mid range one I've wanted since a local member was breeding them 25 years ago. I've bred other Nothos, so I hope I can keep them going for a long time.
I have about 30 in a 24 inch tank with minimal planting.
