would like to get a few of these fish but i cant really find any information about them. was wondering if anyone else owns or has owned them to tell me what there like how easy arethey to keep etc.

they are pretty rare, as they are a reletivly new known species. there natural habitat has been massivly over fished for them though, so if oyu do get some, make sure they are tank bred ones. other than that i cant tell you too much about them! sorry!

I have 17 cpd's in a 15 uk G tank with loads of bogwood, java moss, java ferns and various anubias. temp arourd 24C, my ph is about 8, fine gravel substrate.

At the moment I wouldn't recomend getting any unless you intend to breed them or can buy tank bred. They are quite shy for the first week or so and seem to prefer being in larger groups (safety in numbers) Great for the smaller tank and I should think they would be happy in a peaceful community tank, as long as there are no large fish that might think they'd make a tasty snack. Breeding them doesn't seem to be particularly hard, I've had mine about 2 months and already 1 1/2 week old babies.
Check out the celestial pearl site mentioned in the post above, loads of info there.
