what shall i put in my 10 gallon when i get the goldie in her 30g? Thinking something a little more unusual than common livebearers and tetras. oh, what to do...

A pair of dwarf puffers?

Someone reccomended shell swelling cichlids to me once.

look through your fish book and choose your absolute favourite that is under 2-3 inches

What about some dwarf cichlids - Apistogrammas maybe - in a planted tank with oak leaves as a substrate and lots of bogwood

Or how about an African tank with anubias, bolbitis, and tiger lotus lillies and a pair of Pelvicachromis, Nannochromis etc - there are so many more cichlids than malawis and Kribs
