After i took my danios out of my hospital tank a few days ago, I was lazy and just left the tank sitting empty and unfiltered. Today I went to clean everything up and discovered 7 fry! The temp was only 70 degrees, there's anti-bacterial meds in the tank, no food... I couldn't believe they survived!
But now what do I do with them?! I turned the filter, heater, and bubbler back on, and put in some crushed-up flake food, but now what? I have a little 2.5 gallon hex with undergravel filter that I could dig out... what should I do?

I would put them in the 2.5 with either some mature gravel from the larger tank for the ugf, or bare bottom with a sponge filter with a handful of mature gravel on the sponge.

Little tank is set up, sponge filter with media from one of my other tanks.

What/when do I feed these little guys?

Unless you are hatching fresh bbs daily the next best thing is a quality flake ground to the size of dust. I have a buddy who picked up a small cheap coffee grinder, this thing practically atomizes flake food.
