i want to vary my fishes diet and add some frozen food, what food should i choose to make the following fish happy fish?

2 x khulie loach
1 x gold ram
1 x dwarf gourami
3 x zebra danio
3 x lepard corries
2 x apistogamma trif.

Frozen daphnia (water fleas) are very popular, and aid in digestion as well. Brine shrimp, blood worms, just about any smaller frozen food with the exception of beef heart should work. Because the gourami is in their and they are prone to constipation, I wouldn't feed frozen more than once a week.

i've never bought frozen food for fish before - do most places stock it?

my local doesn't have any.

Depends on where you live, here we have a Petsmart, and a Petco which both stock frozen. The 2 independent fish stores don't. If you live in the UK, I believe there are quite a few Pets @ Home stores, that should carry. You can also order frozen that ships overnight, though I've never done that.

Just a question why can't you feed frozen foods more than once a week, not having ago as i feed them every day but a different one.

The only reason I suggested feeding them frozen once a week, was because of the gourami. In my experiance gouramis are very prone to constipation, and I found if I feed them meaty foods too often, they would get constipated. Other people might not have had a problem with it, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Guess I should have explained why.

Frozen Bloodworm, my fish absolutely love it! ( my fish are pretty similar to yours) but then again, I haven't given them anything else other than freeze-dried tubifex...

I feed frozen bloodworm once or twice a week, and my fish go mental for it.
I haven't tried frozen daphnia, but I shall do so because I'm sure it would go down very well. The dried daphnia wasn't too much of a hit though, but then I don't think I would go for it much - it looks terribly dry and powdery. I shall try the frozen and see.

Fish won't get constipated if you keep them on a varied diet, alway best to research a fish diet needs that way you know you are giving the fish a stable diet thats keeps them healthy.
Feeding a fish right is just as important as water quality.

just dropped in some frozen daphnia - they went mad!
fish seem happier already!

Yup, my fish go nuts for daphnia too. It's one of my favorite things to feed.

My tweety pie fancy goldifsh hates daphnia and spits it out, and them gives me that look what you feed me that crap for, lol.
