Whilst out in my garden today doing some repairs on a fence i noticed some of my unused pots & stuff teeming with life. I remember a recent post about feeding your fish these mozys & stuff, reading back through that post some people mention using a solution to make the food from your garden safe for fish to eat what sort of solution are they talking about?

Just wondering: How did u get there to be life in them and what kind of creatures are there?

I'd imagine, if you want to be careful, just a rinse with heavy dechlored water will be fine, but as long as theres no possibilty of pesticides etc. in the water, then they're fine on their own.

acually looking for them in a place like that might be an ok idea...

i also use earthworms when feeding my tetras as it really brings out their liveliness.
i use 1 earthworm a week and cut it in three .
at this stage the worms are still wiggling and as its the only live food available to me they go nuts for it - though bossman , my redeye often steals em all
