Free Fishies!

lol i was at petsmart earlier today and got 7 neon tetras, 1 red swordtail(male), 1 south american bumble bee catfish. the cashier(who was really a maneger helping out) rang it up as 1 neon 1 swordtial, and 1 catfish so i paid only 8.25 for all those fish and a small bottle of tetra aqua safe with tax........lmao i love it when people dont pay it attention.....beniftits me so much more. lol. just thought id share with u guys.

and the guy read it upside down as £2.66 somehow.

Based on the Petsmart I saw in the UK I guess that pricing probably reflects the anticipated survival rate?

when i was buying some fishies from a place that came to £14 instead of charging the 6 x fishes, i got 6x 60p bloodworm and 1x fishy I was nice though and said cos it was a nice store i didnt want to rip off. I want to support it in order to keep it in business.

lol it was lucky........i quickly left the store though just incase. the new fish are doing well but the neon still seem a bit stressed but im sure theyll be fine. i love the swordtail. hes the very first one ive ever owned.

i always feel guilty and return, but they give it to me anyway. lmao yesterday we got clams, crabs, and shrimp for memorial day and the guy forgot to charge the crab which was 4.99 a pound so i saved like 11$!! i didnt return it though....

bumblee bee catfish are beautiful. I have one myself. Don't see him much but he is amazing when I get to see him. : )

ya they are very beautifull. lucky i have a few parts on my drift that he can hide under and be safe but i can still get a good look at him. when i asked for one at pestmart i saw like none in the tank and the person helping me moved some of teh decor and then there were tons of em zooming around. lol.
