Hi, I was just feeding my fish when I noticed one of the Lemon Tetras was caught behind the filter above one of the suckers. I lifted the filter away from the glass and he swam out but his fins look damaged, especially the tail. I don't know how long he might have been stuck there for or how exactly his fins got damaged because I've been out all evening. His swimming is badly impared and he didn't get to any of the bloodworms I put in. Is he going to be OK? Will his tail fin grow back at all? What is the best thing I can do for him? Thanks, Ems

Is the filter current strong in the tank.
Damaged fins can also make the fish struggle to swim. Fish end up getting exhausted and sometimes don't make it.
Also having trouble maintaining his balance in the water he could of damaged his swim bladder.
Can you issolate him to a hospital tank.
If so half dose some melafix.

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
