Fluval 3

I was just wondering if it is possible to fit a spray bar to a fluval 3.
As I think (ouch headache coming) that the flow is too strong for some of my fish.
would it affect the cycle of water through the filter or would it still suck the s--- up

should be fine Dave and if the spray is too strong from the bar fit it so that it hits the side of the glass.

I have a spray bar on my fluval 3, bought it in pets at home. It is made for fluval 1/2/3/4 as they all have the same 'out' spout. Was about £5.

It comes with a 1 ft length of hose that you cut to length to connect the 'out' spout to the spraybar.

Won't affect the filter at all as it is only distributing the water that has already been through the filter, so the filter will still suck in the poop and all like it did without the spraybar.

ONE NOTE - buy a cleaner, the type with bristles on a twisted metal wire, because you get a huge build up of algae inside the tube (soft hair algae), as there is no access for the plecs and mollies here.
