Has anyone used or heard of a plant fertilizer called "FloraPrime" (I think that's what it is called). It's made by Tetra, and it's in a yellow bottle, which looks alot like the bottle that Aquasafe comes in. I've never fertilized my planted tanks before, so I'm not sure if it's ok, or if I even need to fertilize the tank plants. Any advice would be much appreciated. :D

personally, I don't use general fertilizer. It's just one of those things that went away with my algae problem way back. Instead I only fertilize with iron and potassium and my plants do fine with it

It is "FloraPride". I have used it, it is no better or worse then some of the other high quality feeds. remeber not all plants absorb their nutrient through the water, many prefer a tablet fertiliser applied to the roots.

A lot of cheap "drop it in the water" plant foods are filled with nitrates and phosphates which can very easily cause algal blooms.
