what should fliter should i buy for my 20 gal long. I was thinking a fluvial u3

Aquaclears are cheap on amazon and really convenient to use plus you can use whatever filter media you want in them. Aquaclear is also owned by fluval now too.

ok! I have a hood though, so would it fit? ill look into it

It hangs on the back only needs a little bit. Most hoods though have square sections in back that you can remove to make room or spots to cut a spot out
