I am giving another whack at my five gallon hex, i fixed up the filter issue, got a male betta, and made another sand bottom, threw in a clay pot, and a stone.
Ive got three african dwarf frogs and a male betta in there. the only reason i put the dwarf frogs in there is because for some reason they didnt seem to be doing to well in my freshwater ten gallon... they just werent themselves after i took them out of their cory/ADF tank to make it brackish. for some reason they got really dark in color, any ideas as to why? (also didnt eat as much, barely moved, etc) one of them has a leg issue to....one of his front legs is screwed up big time...it looks almost deformed, but raw at the same time, too short, but then tiny deformed claws on the end, ill try to get a pic but i dont know if ill be able to get a good one. so anyway is the tank dangerously overcrowded or will they be able to live happily within their plants and pots? i might throw in a few ghosties next time i make it to walmart.
