okie, here we go, i am fishless cycling my 95 litre tank DDDDDD<br><br>i'm
kinda doing it in stages, i'm cycling on my old filter first, and then
when my tetratec finally arrives i'll transfer the media over to it and
carry on with the cycle<br><br>MODS - if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move this thread, i didnt know so i posted it here<br><br>i will keep a log here, twice a day :3<br><br>hope this helps!<br><br>Day 1 - Second Half - PH- 8.2, Ammonia - 5ppm, Nitrite - 0&gt;0.1ppm, Nitrate - 40ppm (tapwater levels)<br><br>Day 2 - First Half - PH - 8.2, Ammonia - 1ppm (due to miscalculation - redosed to 5), Nitrite - 0&gt;0.25 ppm, Nitrate - 40ppm<br><br>Unable to test due to me being away<br><br>Day
5 - Second Half - PH - 8.4 , Ammonia - 1ppm (redosed to 5) , Nitrite -
5.0+ ppm (WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE BACTERIA!),

This morning i came down to find it with a bacteria bloom, is this okay or should i change the water and redose?

No, this is fine.

Personally, a bacterial bloom in cycling I tend to leave alone. It'll clear.

my tetratec has actually arrived, however i need some extra tubing before i can install it, so things will have to wait for another day, but so far my internal is cycling nicely ^D^
