With all the tat that is constantly repeated over and over again on Sky, why isn't there a channel devoted to the fishkeeping hobby yet?I'd probably watch it all the time haha!

There's a gap in the market for someone!

Paul.

That's a great idea. At least i think so. Maybe nobody at Sky is so excitable about fish as us TFF'ers?

On the other hand, maybe it's a bad idea. I already spend so much of my time on here, if there was a dedicated TV channel too, i'd probably end up very lonely.

I can just imagine phoning in sick to work to stay at home and watch the all-day gourami special.........................................................

I don't think its appeal is big enough to warrant a channel, not saying it isn't a good idea, I'd probably watch it.
Sorry I couldn't post more, but I'm halfway through watching bidup.tv.......surely we they could let us use that one atleast. Who actually watches all those shopping channels?!

lol, might work if it was generally about fish, but i doubt it would work if it was about the hobby. Not enough people would watch it.

Oh, its true! I'm addicted to their high quality goods at low low prices. Save me from myself!

Though I don't know how to make sarcasm come across on forums, so I'll demonstrate my feelings with this picture:

You say that, but here are just a few of the random channels on Sky ...

Xleague.tv
Wine TV
Sumo TV
Russia Today
Golf Pro-Shop
Legal TV
Gay Date TV
Create & Craft
Channel 5
Maybe, as I said though I don't think its a good idea just for hobbyists or else it would be made cheaply and probably come out rubbish like those channels, which are constantly coming and going.
Maybe in another country like thialand it would work as a channel for hobbyists only.

LMFAO at the Channel 5 on the end of that list :p

Yeah I think it could work. There are hundreds of crappy sky digital channels that are only watched be 3 or 4 people so why not one that is for fishkeeping. :)
