I'm planning Paludarium with a Central-American focus. On the land side, I've already decided on a breeding pair of Gonatodes albogularis (Yellow-Headed Gecko), along with a poison dart frog species (likely Dendrobates auratus, Phyllobates vittatus, or D. pumilio).

Originally, I was going to use some of my existing neotropical fish for the biotope, but I realized that they're all Amazonian. So I'm looking around trying to find information on Central American fish.

Any recs would be a big help. Keep in mind we're talking about a small water area. While I'm not positive I'm guessing the water will comprise less than 20 gallons on the whole. So the huge Cichlids in the area are out. I wish ottos and dwarf Corydoras were native, but no such luck :( I'm guessing I'll have to utilize livebearers and Killies. Some guidance would be very helpful
