Fish Introduction

Well i have put 3 platys in my almost cycled tank, and yes, im prepared for alot of water changes if needed.

My question is, how long should i wait before turning the tank lights on?

The fish seem very relaxed and happy, but i want to get the light on asap so i can get a proper look at them.

turn them on any time, i dont know where you live but if its almost night time, go ahead and leave them off until morning. if its morning and they have been in there for over 3 hrs, then go ahead and turn the lights on.

its 6:30pm.

The fish have been in for almost an hour.

Its already getting dark so i guess ill keep the lights off until morning.
