Fish Identification?

ok so a couple of years ago someone i knew had a fish and it was like super long and skinny looking like a straw i guess but it had a suction cup mouth any ideas of what that could have been?

Maybe a weather loach?

Weather or dojo loach? Maybe a whiptail/farlowella?

Weather/dojo loach don't have a sucker mouth, so my guess would be one of the whiptail catfish species as well.

Whiptail for sure is what hes describing IMO.
