Fish Help

Setting up a 125 Roma this coming week, and starting to think of what I will be putting in there when cycled.

More around a centre piece fish.


I'm thinking something colourful and around 10/12 cm ish size, wife live bright colours and was thinking chiclids tank but have some mollies in my other tank that I was going to place in the new one eventually.


Idea people I'm UK based.

Whilst mollies can be boisterous, a cichlid that big would make mincemeat of a molly, particularly if you had a mating pair.
 
How about one of the larger gourami species?

You could maybe get away with a pair of Angels.

Depends on the temperament of the molly.

Very active mollies.


I don't have to put mollies in but they are growing and will get bigger.


Really looking for a fish that will be happy in a community, good size for 125 and plenty colour

It's about whether the molly would attempt to nip the fins of the gourami, I've had docile mollies, and I've had really vicious ones.

The mollies live with a Betta and his fins are ok, think mainly because fighter stood his ground
