heres what i have in my 20 gallon tank:
4 pristella tetra
3 gold tetra
3 head/tail light tetra
802 Airpump
Air Rock

and this is the problem . . .the fish like to go in the air flow from the air rock! they act like its a slide or something! they go in and then go up and come out! is this normal or are my fish abnormal?

Mermaid girl

My fish play with the air as well. Nothing has happened but I wouldn't wait untill the worst happens.

No problem at all. They're just playing around and having a good ol' time. :)

I've had tons of fish that love to play in current. It makes them stronger and bigger and gives them some playtime pleasure. :)

Yes they love it except my female betta once got stuck behind the filter while playing and I didn't notice untill after school...thankfully she made it. Hungry though! ;)

I have a long airstone in my community tank - some of the fish love it, others can't stand it. The clowns play in it for hours, the betta hates it - his place in on the intake slats on the filter. He fans himself out and sticks to the slats :D I tried one in my cichlid tank, but it scared the fish so much, they wouldn't show their faces - scaredy cats  so I took it out and they're much happier.

My corys love to swim against the water flow that comes out of my bio-life filter, my bronze cory in particular, he plays with it for hours at a time.
