So i have heard some friends say they give "time out" to their fish. So they do this bu putting the fish in a net like 5 minutes. If it keeps biting then another 5 minutes. I think this would stress the fish way to much. But they say they have been sucessful. What do you think?

I think they are causing unnecessary stress on the fish. :/

I thought so. My mom says she would also do it x_x

Wow, now i've heard everything.

Seriously think this is wrong on so many levels :/

I guess its ok to isolate a fish if its been aggresive but put it in net... Yeah... One said in breeders bix but still x_x

I suppose the principle behind it is sort of understandable. Pavlov's dog etc... But I wouldn't be sure it would work for fish...

I also thought it was something similar to pavlov's idea. Dont remember if its called classical or operant conditioning...

Instead of grounding they should be separated because fish are instinctive for the most part and probably don't understand their in a tiny cramped net because they nipped another fish. Just sounds like a terrible way to kill your fish.
