well, to start off with, the most un natural thing they need to get used to, is the glass box, and the recycled water, that is an aquarium... but my caffeine thought of the day, stems, ( pardon the pun ) from observations in my Hillstream tank... several fish that have few plants in their natural environment, are actually excellent gardeners... the panda garra's, probably don't have a lot of leafy plants in their natural environment, yet I find them excellent care takers of anubias plants, my coffeefola in their tank looks in excellent condition , with nice looking, clean leaves... being a slow growing plant, they are vulnerable to build up on their leaves.... my pandas are continually polishing them, like an expert and loving gardener, not too roughly, as to damage it, or actually eat it, like a silver dollar did recently to a flowering nana....I'm sure we put them in a lot of situations, that may look natural to us, but are not for the fish, and often times they adapt... even to the big ugly critter that always shows up, when food magically falls from the sky...
