Firemouth's

I was thinking of changing my 3ft community tank into a firemouth and convict tank since these are my fave new world cichlids, would that be a good i dea or who thinks i should stick with my community tank i know its up to me but i would like to know what others think, i was thinking of getting 1 male convict and firemouth and 3 female convicts and firemouths.

That tank will be tight when the fish get big with that many in there (assuming your 3' tank is a 30 gallon?). And the cons will be rough on everything else when a pair forms and they start breeding. Just be careful and be ready to take some fish out if/when the subdominant ones start getting beat on heavily.
