Filter Wool

does normal wool work or do you need filter wool?

I tried those cotton wool balls (the ones women use to take off makeup)
and with in a few hours they were too flattened to be of any use.

Sera filter wool is good value for money (£6.60 for 2.2LBs)
or try pond filter wool pads and cut to size.
