Okay my filter/pump is not working properly as it keeps spitting out little bubbles and sometimes it does not blow any bubbles at all, I've tried turning it on full and I even cleaned it out the other day with a cottn bud inside the motar. I do not know why it does this but any luck you guys can help!

Here is my filter details:

Fluval 3 plus
Underwater Filter
For tank size: 3' (90 cm)
and upto 130 l

Includes forum, carbon & polyester filter pads

i take it you have an ir tubegoing in to the filter discharge bit so the water flow can pull air into the tank

cheers dane

No I dont have an air tube in the filter

what do u mean??

i have a fluval and have had that problem. I found it was a problem with the little air inlet on tiop of the water outlet. Take the powerhead off the top of the filter and clean out the small airway. I found it occasionally gets blocked. If that doesnt work its probably the inlet is too far below the water so you will have to remove the suckers and reposition the holder slightly higher.

Hope it works!

where the water comes out of your filter there is a little plug on the top which comes out put a bit of air pipe in and stick it out of the tank so it can draw air in and it will be like having an air pump in the tank

cheers dane
