Hi......Good day today.. I just added a Red tailed Shark to my 65 gallon tank :D
Hes in there with 6 Tiger Barbs. Now i was wondering whats the best way to feed him. I put some tetra flakes in there hoping hed get some...But!...my Barbs cleaned up the flakes so fast and when he did seem to go up top the barbs scared him back to his cave....Ive read that flake food is fine...but i just wanted to hear what methods and other foods people use.?....Hes getting along fine with the batbs...hes already picked his cave and has spent most of his time in there...Oh and i read another thread about how hed probably be gray when in a tank with other sharks...Well when i picked him out at IFS he was a pale gray....but in the few hours hes been in my tank hes a beautiful dark black...i already love this fish...anyways thnx for the help with my questions :p

they love their greens!!!! i cut up thick slices of cucumber, attach them to a rock to weigh them down, and let him chow :D

Well I think some algea wafers in there maybe some Bloodworms, I just to have one who just hid in his cave I trew some Shrimp pellets and He finally ate, My solution for ur problem turn off the lights and feed him in his cave while the barbs dont see. :shifty:

Thnx alot MAM...hes about an inch and a half long so im not sure wether hes young...but he seems healthy...and ive got about 1000 frozen peas and some cucumber...so ill give it a shot...........Thnx alot

how aggressive is the red tail grown up, and are catfish like sharks? cos the bottom feeders are said to like cucumbers and stuff too,
