Sorry to hear about Fantasia are you sure that he needs to be euthanised, Is there no way that he can recover or be treated ???

If you do need to the most humane way i have found is to put a dish of water in the freezer till the surface just ices over then take the dish out, break the thin layer of ice and put the fish into the ice cold water, the sudden temp shock paralises the fish and kills the nerves and fishes organs instantly.

the other oprtion i have heard of is using clove oil but im not sure on the way to carry out this method.

Do hope it doesnt come to this.

im justgoing to let him pass away, hes on his side, and barely breathing

ohh thats not sounding good think he has gone too far to come back now, if you are going to leave him then it could be worth while putting something in the tank that he can hide in or behind in a corner and turn all the lights out so he can settle down and be as comfortable as poss.

Sorry to hear hes not doing so well

I have taken ur advice wilder, removed the divider and spyro now has the 4gallons to himself, altho he is missing fants, so i got 2 baby cory to keep him company (they will be moved to the 15gallon once i pick up the pygmy cory for sypros tank next week)
