My 29 gallon tank seems to be evaporating becuase on top of the water likeon the glass theres water driplets. Any way to stop this? The tank is empty except for gravel.

Does the tank have a lid to it?? If the lid is well designed, then the evaporating water will condense and drop back in. If it's open to air, then there's nothing you can do about it...Just take comfort in that you're adding to the water cycle! Just keep an eye on the level and make sure that you're keeping it up to where it needs to be. :)

Ginge - I think it means that there are no fish/plants in it...The tank is filled with water witha substrate...took me a good couple of minutes head scratching to be sure tho

Yeah theres only water and gravel in it. Theres a lid so it is dropping back. Thank you.

water evaporates
that's why you have to do water changes and topping it off if it evaporates too quickly, i love about half to 3/4 of an inch every week.
