Great pictures there. Years since I've been to Crete. Was there for the Easter festivities, (Aghios Nikolaus), early '80's last time.

I've spent a week or two for the last 3 years on a more Northerly island called Skiathos. Greece seems to me to have become very expensive in recent years, but I keep going anyway!

First two are in Preveli, Rethymnon (Preveli Gorge). The third is in Vai beach in Aghios Nikolaos. The fourth is the amazing **cold** Falasarna beach in Chania and the last pic is from the Venetian harbour in the city of Chania.
As far as prices are concerned, since the transition to the Euro currency, prices in Greece are pretty much the same as the rest of Europe.

out of the greek islands i have been to, crete is my favourite
