Firstly, I'd just like to say I haven't been on here in ages and its great to be back!

Anyway, I've got a nice 70 litre tank that unfortunately has no fish in at all. Its been cycled and already has its decor, a cave and some bog-wood to name a few. I just want some really nice fish to go in it. I haven't been interested in the hobby for a few months, but now I'm getting back into it. So, I was just wondering what fish do you guys think would fit nicely in this tank? I was thinking about a couple of small angels, or, if not, a nice bunch of shoaling fish. But Im open to all suggestions.

Thanks very much. B)

Too small for angels but a shoal of most tetra, barbs or rasbora would be fine :)

Just got a nice shoal of lampeyes, they look great when they shoal especialy near the top of the tank and their eyes seem to light up! Nice friendly little fish too!

Shelldwellers.

My fav is Neolamprologus Multifasciatus. a very interesting shell dwelling cichlid that reaches only over an inch and live in old snail shells. You could keep quite a few in there with no problem depending on the dimensions. Go African!!

Shelldwellers need a rather special setup: hard alkaline water (shouldn't be a problem in West Sussex!), species tank rather than sharing with common community species, sand and shells (at least 2 per fish).

I have a 70 tank in which I keep a small school of corydoras, some amano shrimps and a group of livebearers (platies, guppies, endlers would do well- mine are actually the less common porthole livebearers).
