Can't quite put my finger on why but I'm wondering how good or not these filters are?
My tank is a 13UK Gl. tank... looking at the filter the sponges are very coarse and there is no fine particle filter as far as I can see....
I've got 8 platies (some will move to a 25Gl tank) and 4 (was 5) Danios (2 Zebras and 2 leopards) and a peppered cory in the tank and the water never really seems to clear up...
Hard to tell at the moment as I've put the sand in for the cory - the sand was fully washed but thanks to a cat jumping on my back I dropped some in less gently than I intended...
Anyway I'd like to know what people think of the stingray filters - and if not good what they'd recommend instead.
