EEP HELP PLEASE I CANT GET THE LID ON TIGHT ENOUGH IT LEAKS WHATS GOING ON !!!

Hi, I don't run Ehems, so may not be in the best position to comment on the brands products specificaly. There are a few general rules to follow, should you have a leaky exturnal; Re-seat the lid, check the seals are not damaged, and in the correct position, ensure there are no internal parts that are preventing the lid tightening on properly.
Where exactly is it leaking from? one side or all of the lid area? Is it a torrant of water or a slowish trickel? Can you post photos of the lid, both on and off the filter, along with photos of the media in situe. If it is a slow leak, I can only surgest that the sael has gone, but that would be unlikely on an ehem that has been looked after. Is it still under garantee?
Sorry I can't be of more help

Ah the old sealing ring trick.
Just to keep you right, I would order an extra sealing ring and canister clips. They are handy to have in as the sealing rings wear with age and the clips get slack.
Just a little idea so as you dont get caught short in the future.
If you cant get them locally then Aquatics Online stock them.
