dwarf puffers

i was thinking about getting some dwarf puffers for a 10g tank but dont know how many i could put it there or what kind of female/male ratio to have or if i could even have more than one in there in the first place. please help.

This subject should be pinned as it gets asked at least once a week. Have you tried the search?

Two dwarf puffers will be fine in a 10g tank as long as there is good filtration and plenty of decor to break up the puffer's line of sight.

With just two fish, gender is unimportant.

If you can find a small species of bristlenose, then you can add one for algae & cleanup duty.
