Dwarf Gourami

I'm planning on to get a couple or maybe just one Dwarf Gourami for my 33 G community tank. Just wondering if this species would do fine with itself since i don't have a lot of space and want to get more variety of fish in my tank. Thanks

You can add dwarf gouramis, but you should add one male and two females, and not a pair. They really do look great.

If you want a loner gourami the paradise fish is the best choice because they are like bettas, they fight with other males, not just little nips either. They have longer fins too. Another fish that is timid and likes to be alone is the giant gourami or the thick lipped gourami.
