Dusty Water?

hey i have noticed what appears to be dust on the surface of the water on my tank any ideas? should i be worried?

shouldn't be anything to worry about, if you point the filter at the suface it will break it up

yes, all tanks get a natural "slime" or "dust" coat over time if they do not have alot of surface movement. The same happens in nature, hence why many ponds have alot of "goodness" floating at the surface. I agree, either raise your filter outlet/ lower your water level so that the filter outlet will agitate the water more.
