Hi,
I have been looking for a piece of wood to put in my tank to help with higher PH. I was at the LFS the other day and found a beautiful piece of wood that is for terrariums and lizards and such. I read on the tag and it hasn't been treated with anything and it says it is grapewood. I asked the clerk and she said that I should boil it and then soak it for a week before adding it to my tank.
Does anyone know about grapewood? Is it safe to put in my tank? Just wanted an opinion other than the clerk at the store.
