Dreaded White Spot

ok bought some mollies about 2 weeks ago and this is the only thing i can think has bought white spot into tank LFS has had a BIG white spot prob so this is y i say this i only found out a few dayafter i bought them

i've been using britishking?? white spot stuff for a week and doesnt seam to be working
had 4 dead yesterday and 4 today
my guppies are looking worse for wear now.

how long does it usualy take to sort?? also does white spot affect fins?? as there all falling apart ask in store today if i can add anything else they so no just bring in water sample and theycan see whats up, tank was running smoothly unlit new fish were introduced.
if they all dont make is it best to start from scratch?? fishless cycle again?

fishes left - 3 guppies
4 black tera
2 neons
2 platys
1 plec
3 moliies

Have you raised temp to 30.
Have you increased aeration in the tank.

It can take two rounds of meds sometimes to get rid of whitespot.
Yes whitespot affects the fins too, gills, eyes, body.

got 2 big airstones going now
cant get heater to turn anymore GRrrrr its one that comes with the jewul trigon tank (think its at 28)

will haveto give it time never had white spot this bad b4 sooo sad

Temp need to be 30 to speed the life cycle up.
Can you buy a new heater and keep the one you have as a spare.
I would check in tropical discussion to see if the heater you have will be able to get to 30 readng.

it turns out my heater was broken too which proberly hasnt helped treating white spot GRrrrrrr
so got a new heater today and it works lol just hope i can save the rest

platy and tetras not looking too good so may lose them but mollies swimming around without a care in the world

is it true if they got white spot from LFS and was treated by LFS and then put in my tank they kinda get immune to it?? so if in contact they will survive?? which i why i think there showing no signs of illness?
