Dragon Fish

Well i was stopping by Wal-Mart to do sum grocery shoppin' with the girlfriend's parents yesterday and of course i had to at least go look at the fish... I expected the worst, and well got the worst ive ever seen.

But there was this really kool fish id never seen before. It was labeled a Dragon Fish. It was about 6 inches long, and kinda dull colored. It was like a snake, kinda like a Dojo Loach. But a lot more rounder. The face really looked like a dragon. I really liked them and was wondering if anyone had any info on them. I tried a search with no luck.

The bad part was that this sweet lookin' fish was in this tank with 7 other dead ones. There were about 3 live ones very actively swimming, the dead ones, and ones breathin their gills out on the bottom. They were in the tank with Guarmies.

I couldnt find a single tank without a dead fish...

But i dont want to start another thread bashing Wal-Mart, I wanna know if anyone has ever seen or heard about these "Dragon Fish"

probally a violet goby. Check out the brackish section of this forum for TONS of information. They have several threads with pics posted as well for reference.

depending on species it could be a true brackish fish or it might be the species which can live happily in brackish or freshwater.

Yes, this fish is more commonly known as a violet gobi or a dragon gobi. here's a site I found on them.
