Does The Same Rules Ablige For Coldwater

i have got a coldwater tank set up and cyceling ready for minnows. my question is do coldwater tanks take shorter to cycle or the same or longer. i remember when i was a kid we got a tank filled it up with water and the next day we went out to et 4 goldfis and they all livd for 4 years.

Same rules apply. Your 4 year old goldfish could of possibly lived 20+ years.

Yep, must still be cycled.

Would take longer i think, as the bacteria multiplies quicker when its warmer.

And goldfish living for 4 yers os nothing speacial. They can live for over 20 years i think.

in a tank. jeeese i only thought they live that long in ponds in our pond we have 2 13 year old goldfish but thats the oldest lol

A goldfish pond is nothing more than a big outdoor fish tank. They live longer in them because they have more room for the fish.
