Disscus Grouping

In my LFS today i saw three of them all together with all of there tails pointing inwards and lookin out at the other disscus in the tank, kinda reminded me of the three muskateers (sp?) fighting back to back. Whts this mean?

from what i hear that discus can get agressive with eachother if ther not enough room in the tank...

When i said fighting back to back i ment like defending each other they definatly wern't being aggresive with each other.
