How should I go about cleaning a breeders net? Like disinfecting it

I want to get our danio numbers to 6 in our main tank so I'm going to try raising some of their fry in our 5 gallon once it's free. I plan on using the net for a short time.. just for a week or 2....
I haven't used it for over 2 months now, it's been out of water and pretty much collecting dust, but when I was using it, something nasty (bacterial) got into our water and killed half of our fish.
So even though whatever it was that had killed half our fish is probably long dead by now since the net hasn't been in water since.. I would still very much like to do whatever I can to disinfect the net if possible.

Sooo.. yeah.. any help would be great :)

I just boil my nets after they have been used with any sick fish. although I always try and use the same net for any sick fish.

wash it in a mild bleach solution (1 part bleach to 20 parts water) then rinse rinse rinse rinse rinse rinse rinse :good:

Well I was thinking about boiling, but was afraid that the plastic would probably melt.
I'll try the bleach solution.

Thanks everyone for the help :)
