Discus Or Rainbowfish?

I am getting a new 55g tank, I have decided on
1) A pair of discus with a few other fish perhaps a schoal of corries...

or

2) A tank with rainbow fish....

What would you do?

I do plan to have the tank planted with real plants..

Both sound like excellent options. You're just like me, stuck between two excellent tanks.

I myself am getting a 40g

I'm stuck between a tank with
2x Angel fish 2x Blue Rams 1x Dinosaur Eel (yay) 1x Raphael Cat and maybe something else

or

15x Cardinal tetra
15x neon tetra
3x roseline shark

and maybe some wall sucker or something. ATM i have a pleco as big as a neon. Will replace when he gets to big for a smaller neon and more food stuffs. Tis the plan.

Hate me for it, but i'll have a dragon goby in etiher one, and he means i can't have the dinosaur eel. I may return him T_T....


my 10 gallon will then be
1x flying fox
1x khuli loach (who will get 3 new friends)
and some other stuff maybe. may throw in a betta? a varient like a pure yellow or special blue. hmmm....
