having a nightmare here. first off, thanks for the help with the help with the female molly but she died last week. shortly followed by one of my danios. then my betta somehow got into my hatchery and ate all the molly fry. and now i come home from work and my RTBS has died along with one of the 2 survivors of the fry attack and a plec. the fry that remain have a white line running right at the end of there fins that wasnt there before, one of the danios has things that look like little white fluffy cuts on its back and the plec that died had really weird things coming out either side of its head. the only way i could describe it is that it looked like a sea annenimi growing out its face, i thihnk it could be a bacterial thing but im not sure, what are your thoughts.

a recent water test showed:

No2: 0
GH: >10 d
KH: 0
pH: 6.8

The fluffy marks do they go along the back of the fish and down the sides of form a saddle shape.

dont think so, they just look like cuts that go over the back of the fish, i just noticed it is alot fatter to one side, and has got red marks on its belly. you wouldnt beleive the week ive had with animals in my house, im beggining to think the house is cursed! i did a water chan ge to be safe and added liquisil tonic to see if that helps

The red marks on the fish are they beneath the skin.

i think they look on the skin rather than under it. i can only think that its something coming from the tap. as all my fiancees fish that were in a different tank all dies within 24 hours and had the same white line on the tail fin

I would add anti interna bacteria med by interpet to the tank.
I would make sure the weird things are not a parasite.
Any pitting in the head region.

nah just swelling in the tummy. any idea what the things that were coming out the plec are?

Are the things on the head loose now or still stuck to it.

Coming out of the plec, sorry don't know what you mean, are they from the head or anus.

The things coming from the plec head which now has died, did they look like parasites.

from its head beside its mouth one on each side of its mouth, they look like small sea anenimis. like a spot with bristles sticking out it, no pic available its gone

Ok.
it could be a parasite to bacterial.
The bristles sticking out did they look like cotton or resemble a parasite.
I would add a bacterial med for now and keep an eye on things.

ok, im off now, got really bad sunburn from today to add to all the fish worries

Keep a look out for signs of flicking and rubbing.
Check the fish when they go to the toilet.
