When i buy a fluval 304/5 I plan to either
1. Keep Fluval 304/5 On its own
2. Keep 304/05 with fluval 4+
3. Keep 304/5 with HOB
4. Use ALL 3
Honestly i hate the waterfall created by the HOB, I hate the size of the fluval 4+ and, turtles on the other hand, like current. So i dont know he'll probably like the 2 waterfalls and i'll give him one of the 3 filters i suppose
I have something to add, I plan to do huge changes to my tank soon, that includes changing the gravel to sand, from what i know, the bacteria lives in the gravel, but also the filter, which is very important and barely any lives in the water itself, i want to give the tank a new start but i dont want to cycle again.
The question is, can i use 100% new water after i change the gravel to sand with only the 2 old filters remaining? will this prevent me from cycling again?
And wehn i store my gravel, is it important it clean it so well that there are no bacteria remain or...at least as clean as possible?
