My question is i guess a noob one, but one that i wish to understand 100%.

How often do fish really change their diet?

Im referring to my tiger plec enjoying flakes and shrimp pellets instead of the algae waffles i drop him, and the corys enjoying the waffles instead of the pellets hehe.

They eat everything but those are the main things they seem to be eating, my bala just likes the flakes and hes pretty much stayed the same, so thats my question i guess how common, and if anything what does this mean? I think nothing but hey just in case right.

Thanks, Igor.

I'm not really sure what the question is :p

As long as the fish are eating I wouldn't worry. I try to give mine as wide a variety of food as possible and I don't mind who eats the most of what, as long as they all get some.

It can be surprising what's in the food too. I don't know about algae waffles - but Tetra Pro Vegetable contains fish, molluscs and crustaceans - as well as cereals, vegetable extracts and algae.
