Does anybody have experience with this plant? I intend to grow some in 3.4WPG at a depth of 50cm, but I am not sure whether this will result in it carpetting, or growing upright. It will be in 30ppm CO2 and EI ferts.

Cheers, Dave.

I've never heard of diandra carpeting. Like most stems it should grow as tall as you let it, although some have difficulty with this plant. It seems to prefer soft water.

Cheers George,

I read somewhere that it can carpet in intense light, contrary to what it said on the Tropica site, which has it growing to 15cm. I am sure I can get more than 15cm out of it, but it sounds like the ideal midground plant for my 120l.

Tropica say 15cm+ I think. ;) It's a lovely plant, good luck with it. If you have trouble there's the green rotalas that are easier.
