Did My Fish Give Birth?

Okay a few days or weeks ago I asked if my platy fish was pregnant. Well turns outshe was now theres this weird floaty thing in my tank and I dont know what it is it kinda looks like an eggsack thing I dont know just help me please!

Platy do not lay eggs. They are livebearers. Please provide a photograph. If your platy have birth there should be several very small fish swimming around.

Bubbles from the filter? Mines sit on the top of the water like a bubble nest

That is not an egg sac from any fish, to my knowledge. It is also not a collection of bubbles like Ny82 suggested. It looks like a type of mold or algae, actually, but the picture quality is poor. Can you provide a few clearer photographs?

What are the tank inhabitants, water stats, etc?

Is this attached to the wall? How long has it been there?

Side note: your water level is low. It is time for a water change.

I have two african cichlid one a female auratus and i dont know what the other one is three platys two tattoo mollies and some snails it is free floating and i just saw it this morning, thank you! I did not notice that the water was low

What size tank? Plants? Temp? PH, ammonia, etc?

What do you mean by tattoo molly? As in a molly which has been tattooed? You should not purchase any of these because t supports the I humane act of physically harming a fish.

Regardless of your stocking (in my opinion poor), I would suggest you remove whatever it is and see if another replaces it. Do a large water change and wait a while. I have no idea what this is.

Whatever that is you need to remove it. Never seen anything like that before.
