So I don't know, a few days ago I think, I posted a thread about ordering online. At the time I was misinformed about glass cats and was going to get some for my 20g long. I decided instead to get more caRdinal tetras and make it a cardinal tetra and corycat only tank. I currently have 5 cardinals and 4 sterbai corydoras in the 20. I have more sterbais in the 30 which I might move to the 20. I ordered 5 more "large" cardinal tetras from liveaquaria.com. I ordered on Friday morning 1 day shipping (35$) and it's now Tuesday and still nothing. I checked and the order had shipped on Friday, it should've been here on Monday but now it's Tuesday late afternoon, 6:00 where I am and I'm starting to worry...the cardinals were about 5$ each so with shipping my total cost was 60$...last time I ordered online it was a disaster and already I'm having a bad experience...

I have never ordered from live aquaria, but this seems definitely wrong. Do they have a DOA policy? You should expect that.

Unless the post doesn't run on Saturdays. Some areas do not have Saturday post. As of August I am losing my Saturday mail, which makes fish ordering a hassle.

No, I meant the order "shipped" which I guess means all the paperwork was finished and it was in transit. I'm pretty sure they don't do Saturday deliverys as they had a 15$ "upgrade" available for saturday deliveries. If it's not here tomorrow I'm going to call them. I checked the order status and it still has "in transit" but no specified date..

It may not have actually left yet, or left today.  I'd call first thing personally.

They don't ship it USPS.  They ship it FedEx, UPS, etc.

Tracking packages is never very acurate. A family member works with Fedex and according to her, "In Transit" actually only mean that the order has been processed. That means that they could be working on fishing the fish out of the tank, putting them in the box, or actively shipping them at this moment. I would definitely call, but I wouldn't be very concerned. "Overnight" or "One Day" shipping is rarely actually overnight or one day, because the company could take their sweet time getting the package actually to the shipping service.

They have a fairly good reputation with the folks I talk to and the people I know who have actually ordered from them.  I'd be less concerned than you, but seeing that you have been burned in the past, I can understand your increased level of concern.

Their shipping info says orders placed Friday should arrive Tuesday

I just got the order 4 dead cardinals ice cold heat pack.

Heat packs only last 12 or so hours, It's why it should be one day postage. Get a refund.

They will refund you, call them!
