i was just wondering if aloe in the conditioners made a noticeable difference in the fish's health. im using aqua plus right now and it has aloe in it, but my fish dont seem much healthier than my lfs, and they use prime to treat the water. are we just wasting money to get this extra additive?

My wife swears on the benefits of aloe vera - for humans.

Many plants of the aloe type are seen to have medical benefits - the main ones being a skin/wound healant and the other being internal cleansing/natural laxative.
However, I'm guessing that the quantities involved in a commercially available fish or water conditioner/medication are more than just a "trace element"
