So my dwarf gourami died the other day and I am kind of puzzled why? He has been in my established tank (about 5 months established) for over a month and has been eating and acting fine. I did notice that he didn't come to the top to be fed the other night but didn't find that weird at the time.
A week ago I added 6 lamp eye tetras, 6 rosy barbs and 1 oto to my existing 11 neon tetras and 12 white-finned rosy barbs. All my levels are normal, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and between 5-10 nitrate checked every few days on my liquid kit. I did a water change about a week before he died.
