Danio Zebra Feeding On Parasite -_-

Hi there, My 60 litre tank has just bursted with what i think Ich (white spots).My tank is nearly 6 months old an had no problems previously. now 3 of my fishes died in 3 days in a row Devastated I am. 2 of my newly added tiger barbs are heavily infected but surprisingly danio zebra doesn't seem to be infected rather strangely they are picking on infected barbs. yes they are eating the white stuff off barbs body my worry is is this gonna infect zebra too or what should i do? please help someone.

treat the tank fo ich straight away
and hope your zebras are ok

oh and remove any dead fish as quick as you can, not only will they rot, producing all the toxins you dont want in a tank, if they were ill and other fish eat them you never know what ails they could get
